ANNOUNCEMENT TO BUSINESS PARTNERS OF TURKON LINE Turkon Line upgrades its NWC MED express service to ‘’Fixed day weekly sailings’’.
Turkon Germany and Turkon Belgium wish to inform the trade on behalf of their principals Turkon Line Istanbul that as from 1st January 2012, the service pattern of Turkon Line will be changing to fixed day-weekly sailings to/from Turkey and east med, adding also Greece to its port pairs.
In order to achieve fixed day sailings Hamburg will no longer be served directly but through Bremerhaven. We hope to serve our clientele better by offering sailings ex Bremerhaven arriving Wednesdays sailing Thursdays and ex Antwerp arriving Fridays and sailing Saturdays, with shorter transit times to main Turkish ports i.e. Gebze/Evyap, Ambarli/Istanbul, Gemlik and Izmir/Aliaga.
Valencia will be served only on the northbound route providing a very short and quick transit time for the Spanish imports to North Europe. This will be effected via slot charter agreement with carrier Seago.
Turkon Line will also be offering and upgrading its NWC / Israel service with Seago’s DIRECT weekly fixed day Israel service.
Other east med ports will be served via Turkish ports in the same way as they are presently done nl. with Turkon Line’s Eastmed Service Lane.
For more info pls contact Turkon Germany and Turkon Belgium.
