New Service South America West Coast and Central America

We are pleased to announce you MSC has reached an agreement with CSAV on the North Europe to Central America and South America west coast service.

With this agreement CSAV will discontinue their Euro Andes Service and join the existing North Europe / SAWC service of MSC. This arrangement will start as from August 2011 onwards.

Rotation of the North Europe / South America West Coast Service will be following:

ROTTERDAM/ANTWERP/FELIXSTOWE/BREMERHAVEN/HAMBURG/CAUCEDO/CARTAGENA/
CRISTOBAL/ BALBOA/CALLAO/PTO ANGAMOS/CORONEL/SAN ANTONIO/BALBOA/CRISTOBAL/ ROTTERDAM

We have inserted Hamburg and Cartagena in our rotation and we will call San Antonio (instead of Valparaiso).

In addition, MSC introduced the Panama Express service. This new service will be operated with 6 vessels and rotation will be:

CRISTOBAL/ROTTERDAM/ST PETERSBURG/ANTWERP/CRISTOBAL.

We will not only have a direct service from Panama to Rotterdam and St Petersburg, we will also improve our transit time from Antwerp to Cristobal to 12 days.
